Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a Paralegal with prior experience of residential conveyancing to join our team.

About the role

Duties Include:

  • Assisting Fee Earners with managing residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
  • Conducting title checks and searches, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties to ensure a smooth transaction process.
  • Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
  • Managing diaries, maintaining case files, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

 

You would be initially based at our Burnley office with the facility to undertake some work from our Preston office and, in addition, can offer some flexibility with hours and will consider some homeworking.

You will be part of a team but expected to be able to work on residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion.

Salary commensurate with experience with opportunities to progress.
