Emma has been with Southerns since 2013, joining the firm shortly after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2012. She began her legal career specialising in Mental Health Law before expanding her expertise into Court of Protection work, developing a strong understanding of both areas of practice.

In this role, she leads the firm’s operational strategy and oversees key areas including compliance, audits and regulatory requirements, helping to ensure the practice maintains the highest standards of governance, efficiency and client service.
She also continues to support the day-to-day running of the firm, drawing on her extensive experience to contribute to its ongoing success.
Known for her dedication, reliability and commitment to both clients and colleagues, Emma plays a vital role in supporting the firm’s continued growth and development.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and children.
