Joanne joined Southerns in November 2025 in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence department, bringing with her over 15 years’ experience.

A stand-out career moment for Joanne was that she attended a Infant Approval Hearing and a Judge told praised her on doing an excellent job for her son, which was nice to hear!
Outside of work Joanne is an avid birdwatcher and the chair of the Burnley Municipal Choir, who participates singing with the choir in an evening and weekends. Joanne has a music degree from Bath Spa University and we were amazed to find out her father was an international opera singer!
