Lynne qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and joined Southerns in 2021. She graduated from the University of Manchester with a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Medical Ethics & Law (1991–1996), before completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School (1996–1997). Lynne began her training contract with Pettys in Ipswich in 1997, qualifying two years later.

Outside of work, Lynne enjoys gardening, walking and skiing. She has also once attended a Christmas Ball at Buckingham Palace, where she met the late Queen and even managed to down a pint in one and share a dance with King Charles.
