Roseanna graduated with an LLB from the University of Central Lancashire in 2013 and completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2021. Her role within the Crime department includes taking initial instructions, preparing files for trial, liaising with the CPS and police, drafting witness statements and supporting clients throughout their case.

She has particular experience in minor motoring offences, alongside a broad range of general criminal matters. She is currently working towards her Police Station Accreditation.

In addition to her criminal work, Roseanna assists with Inquests, providing guidance and support to families. This is an area she is continuing to develop, with the aim of practising in both Crime and Inquests upon qualification.

A highlight of her career to date has been her involvement in drafting the first Stalking Protection Order in Lancashire.

Roseanna says, “I love working at Southerns — everyone is really friendly and approachable, and it’s a very supportive team.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and going on long dog walks. She is also refreshing her French language skills, as she has Moroccan family members and often acts as the chief translator for her English relatives.
