We are looking for two solicitors or experienced caseworkers to join our highly respected and friendly Court of Protection team.
Full-time applicants preferred but part-time applicants will be considered.
The role will involve:
Handling a range of section 16 applications and section 21A challenges.
A wide variety of day to day tasks such as taking instructions, drafting documents, securing appropriate funding, preparing witness statements, drafting instructions to experts, briefing counsel, attending court and meetings with clients.
You will often be working with clients who are very vulnerable.
Interesting and varied caseload.
The opportunity to be involved in wider public law work such as mental health, community care and inquest cases.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the Court of Protection or transferrable skills from other practice areas.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferable for this role.
