Great British Bake Off winners have nothing on the team here at Southerns, they have some incredible baking skills. On Tuesday 16th June, we hosted a Forget Me Not Tea Party Cake Sale at both our Burnley and Preston offices to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that funds groundbreaking research into dementia and supports people and families affected by dementia every single day. Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. It affects us all and devastates lives.
Every 3 minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia. Being able to support the work that Alzheimer’s Society does to fund more research into this disease is really important to us here at Southerns.
A huge THANK YOU to the team who took the time to bake cakes and show their support with donations. All of their efforts were amazing and together we have raised £155.61, an incredible amount of money for Alzheimer’s Society
