On Saturday 13th June 2026, members of our team here at Southerns took part in the 17th Annual Pendle Pub Walk, tackling a 13-mile route around Pendle in support of this fantastic local charity.
The day was full of memorable moments, from navigating a few wrong turns and muddy field detours to unexpected pizza deliveries, impromptu karaoke stops and plenty of laughter along the way. Despite some challenging terrain, the team kept spirits high throughout and showed fantastic determination from start to finish.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing everyone support one another throughout the walk. Whether encouraging teammates up a hill, sharing supplies or simply keeping morale high, the sense of teamwork and camaraderie was evident from beginning to end.
Fundraising
We are incredibly proud to announce that the walk raised an additional £275 in sponsorship towards our £1000 target, bringing even more valuable support to Pendleside Hospice and the vital work they do within our local community.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, donated and supported us. Your generosity and encouragement helped make the day such a success.
