It’s not all serious sometimes here at Southerns, this afternoon some of the team took some time out to take part in the Summer Quiz and Networking event hosted by Ben Duckworth.
Our Quiz team ‘The Jury’s Out!’ absolutely smashed the quiz taking on 1st PLACE mixing our knowledge of Sports and Music, not to mention we gave it our all on the ‘East Lancashire’ knowledge round. What a great afternoon, while helping to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.
As well as bringing back the Winner certificates, our very own Joanne Latham also won top prize on the raffle and Nathan Heywood won a spicy sauce cooking set.

The quiz was hosted at Penny Black just down the road from our offices on Hargreaves Street, Burnley BB11 1DX.
It was great to see so many faces getting involved and fundraising for Pendleside Hospice.
Our chosen charity of the year for 2026, with a story and history close to our hearts. Muriel Jobling, the founder of Pendleside Hospice was a former Solicitor here at Southerns Solicitors and being able to fundraise and support the hospice means a lot to us here at the firm.
